Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Business Development Representative to join our dynamic Business Development team. This role will focus on driving business development by conducting thorough prospect research and collaborating with marketing and the broader Business Development team to design and execute on outreach strategies with a goal of converting leads to introductory meetings with the broader Business Development team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the logistics of the front end sales processes and relationship management and supporting the creation of impactful marketing materials.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive research on potential prospects using available databases, industry reports, and web-based resources to understand their organizational structures, decision-makers, and specific needs.
- Stay current with industry trends, competitor activities, and prospecting opportunities to ensure effective outreach strategies.
- Analyze data gathered to tailor communication efforts to align with each prospect’s unique interests, challenges, and goals.
- While not a primary focus, demonstrate a willingness to engage in light cold calling to assist with prospecting efforts or to gather market research.
- Handle logistical tasks for and in some cases attend key company events such as in person Day with OMS360 (DWOMS) and virtual Evening with OMS360 (EWOMS), and industry conferences.
- Manage post-event follow-up processes, including CRM updates with new leads, and coordinate with BD and marketing teams to continue nurturing relationships initiated at events.
- Work in close partnership with the marketing team to design and implement effective prospecting strategies, including email campaigns, direct mailers, and other outreach initiatives.
- Assist in the creation and design of sales and marketing materials, including brochures, mailers, teaser content, and presentations for use with potential partners.
- Assist Senior Director of Business Development with general reporting, strategic planning, and in the development of materials for quarterly meetings with the Board of Directors.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in sales, business development, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in Salesforce and Power BI or other CRM/reporting tools.
- Strong research skills and familiarity with prospecting databases.
